Sledding in Rinn & on the Glungezer

Sledding is an essential part of a true Tyrolean winter – and around Camping Judenstein, you have two fantastic opportunities to experience the snowy mountains on a sled.

Rinner Alm Sledding Run – Winter Hiking & a cosy mountain hut

The Rinner Alm sledding run is perfect for anyone who enjoys combining a winter hike with a fun sled ride. The ascent starts at the edge of Rinn and follows a separate, wide winter hiking trail up to the Rinner Alm. The approximately 1.5-hour climb takes you through the peaceful winter landscape and rewards you with beautiful views across the Inn Valley.

Once you reach the Rinner Alm, you can warm up and enjoy traditional Tyrolean specialities and hot drinks before heading back down into the valley on your sled. The approximately 3.7 km long, well-maintained sledding run offers a varied descent and is ideal for a fun winter day with the whole family.

A particularly special experience is night-time sledding. Once the lights come on and the surrounding winter landscape is illuminated, the descent becomes an unforgettable adventure.

Glungezer Sledding Run – 3.7 km of Winter Fun

If you prefer a more comfortable way to reach the start, the Glungezer offers another fantastic sledding experience. Take the Glungezer cable car up the mountain and get ready for an exciting 3.7 km descent through the snow-covered mountain landscape.

The combination of a ride on the cable car, spectacular panoramic views and a long sledding run makes the Glungezer a wonderful winter adventure for the whole family. It is the perfect way to turn a simple day of sledding into a memorable mountain experience.
