The Glungezer is particularly close by. Ski tourers will find several ascent options here, along with beautiful routes offering impressive views across the Inn Valley. One popular route leads from the Tulfein mountain station via the Schartenkogel to the Glungezer, at an altitude of 2,677 metres. For beginners, the piste tour to the Schartenkogel offers a relatively easy way to gain their first experience in ski touring.

The trails around Rinn, Tulfes, and the Glungezer are particularly beautiful. From leisurely routes through snow-covered winter forests to more challenging hikes at higher elevations, there’s something for every level of ability. One special highlight is the snowshoe hike from the Tulfeinalm to the Glungezer Hut, which takes you through the impressive winter landscape up to over 2,600 meters.
There are also numerous marked snowshoe trails around the Patscherkofel and throughout the Innsbruck region. From Camping Judenstein, you can continually discover new trails and enjoy the winter mountain scenery in complete tranquility.
