Camping Judenstein

Hiking vacations in Rinn

The hiking paradise of Tyrol offers breathtaking hikes ranging from easy to challenging, suitable for experienced hikers as well as families with small children and strollers.

You can set off directly from the campsite and explore the surrounding mountains.

One of the most popular hikes is probably to the cozy Rinner Alm, which is idyllically located at 1,394 m above Rinn (walking time approx. 1.5 hours from the campsite).
Those who want to go higher can continue on to the Patscherkofel, Glungezer, or Viggarspitze, which of course requires more stamina and practice.
Or you can continue on the Almenweg 1600 trail, passing three more alpine huts and ending the hike at the Patscherkofel.

Of course, the Glungezer and Patscherkofel can also be reached by cable car, and one of the most popular hikes there is the Zirbenweg, which connects the two mountains on a spectacular trail along the ridge with fantastic views.

Those who don't like it so steep can explore Rinn and the surrounding area on gentler hikes, such as the Knappental circular hike from Judenstein via the legendary Teufelsmühle (Devil's Mill) or the Poltental circular hike from Judenstein via Tulfes.
