Welcome to the Campingplatz Judenstein

 

The Campingplatz Judenstein is idyllically situated right next to a small 17th-century Baroque church in a charming and historic district of Rinn known as Judenstein.

The delightful church—once an important pilgrimage site and now a popular venue for baptisms and weddings—was built in 1670 by Dr. Hyppolytus Guarinoni, with ceiling paintings by Josef Ignaz Mildorfer. The commemorative plaque on the left wall of the church dedicated to Josef Speckbacher deserves special attention; alongside Andreas Hofer, he was one of the central figures in the 1809 struggle for freedom. Through his marriage, he lived in Judenstein for a time, and a statue was erected in his honor at the eastern entrance to Rinn.

Relaxing in the midst of nature and discovering Tyrol

Judenstein is located at an altitude of approx. 900 m, surrounded by fields, meadows and forests. It is a quiet place to rest, relax and recharge your batteries. Listen to the birds singing, admire the fantastic mountain panorama and breathe in the pure mountain air. 

The location is ideal for various activities in nature and in the mountains, but also for discovering the wide range of cultural and gastronomic offerings in Innsbruck and Hall in Tirol, both of which can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.

Judenstein is the ideal starting point

A bus stop directly in front of the campsite allows guests to leave their cars behind and take the bus to Innsbruck or Hall in Tirol. It also provides access to the Patscherkofel and Glungezer cable cars, which offer numerous hiking trails.

One of the most popular hikes is probably the Zirbenweg, which runs along the ridge between the Patscherkofel and Glungezer mountain stations and offers breathtaking views of the Nordkette and the Inn Valley. The Stubai Glacier and Lake Achensee can be reached in less than an hour by car.
